MR. H. S. WOLSELEY, late of Lodge Plugs, Ltd., has joined Abingdon King Dick, Ltd., as a representative for hand tools.
MR. I. A. OWN, Firestone Newcastle district manager, was recently made a presentation to mark his 20 years of service to the company.
MR. C. SMITH has relinquished his appointments as vice-chairman of the Traders Road Transport Association and chairman of the T.R.T.A. London and Home Counties area, MR. J. B. GREEN. A.M.Inst.T., has been appointed claims officer in the department of the chief traffic officer at the headquarters of the Road Haulage Executive. Mr. Green was claims manager of Pickfords, Ltd., from 1927, occupying a similar position with Carter Paterson and Pickfords Joint Parcels Services.

MR. FRANK W. Rowt, B.Sc., F.I.I.A., has succeeded MR. F. A. MARTIN, 0.B.E., as chairman of the British Steel Founders Association.
Ma. JOHN RODWAY,
has joined the Newton and Bennett organization as chief engineer. He was formerly assistant chief engineer of the Clayton Dewandre Co., Ltd.
MR. T. P. Sstrrit has been appointed Nuffield field engineer in Durban to supervise the assembly of knockeddown vehicles in South Africa. He recently -returned from India, where he was works manager of Hindustan Motors. Ltd.
MR. H. E. OSBORN has joined the boards of City of Oxford Motor Services, Ltd., and Southdown Motor Services, Ltd. In the Oxford company he replaces MR. A. G. POLLARD and on the Southdown board, Ma. J. C. CHAMBERS.
