the Li Traders Road Transport Association have circularized local authorities in the two counties suggesting that the T.R.T.A. should be consulted over proposals aimed at imposing bans on goods vehicles stopping to load or unload.
Mr. W. E. Foster, the divisional secretary, reports that about 75 per Cent. of the municipal bodies approached have so far replied to the effect they would either get in touch with the T.R.T.A, if they were contemplating such a move, or promising to bear the point in mind at the appropriate time.
One authority wrote that the problems posed by projected loading bans would not be known "until they have been discussed with Associations."
