• More new Bedford trucks are coming along to widen the range soon, Mr Alex Rhea, managing director of Vauxhall Motors Ltd, said on Friday. He was host at a press dinner given by the company.
He also confirmed that commercial vehicle sales were now really on the upswing and that prospects for this year looked good. At the moment, said Mr Rhea, the most marked growth in the UK and on the Continent was at the heavy end of the truck market.
