A single-piece replacement mudwing —The Sprayguard is being marketed by Jonas Woodhead Ltd; it is injection moulded in BP Chemicals Rigidex 140/160 high-density polyurethane by Rolinx and is claimed to be the largest single hdp injection moulding to be produced irf the UK. It has a shot weight of 8.;lb.
The mudwing is self-coloured, which obviates the need for painting or touching up. It is said to be resistant to corrosion from weathering, salt or spilled liquid cargoes. It is also claimed to reduce noise, eliminate rattle and to have a long shelf life.
