Dutch Speed Limit; The Dutch Government intend to reimpose a 50 k.p.h. (about 31 m.p.h.) speed limit in built-up areas. Speed limits were abolished in Holland eight years ago, but the increasing vehicle population and rising accident figures make the new proposal necessary.
Japanese Study: Bombay Corporation, who are considering the introduction of trolleybuses in the city, have approved a proposal that the general manager of the B.E.S.T. undertaking should study troIleybus operation in Japanese cities. The Indian Government are to contribute Rs.15,000 towards the cost of the visit.
