'THE manager. of Blackpool Transport 1. Department, Mr. J. C. Franklin, was criticized by Blackpool Accident Prevention Council last week for refusing to allow them to display posters on Blackpool buses. Mr. Franklin told the accident prevention council that the posters were far to gruesome and put the matter of travelling on buses in a very bad light.
Subsequently, a member of the council, Miss I. Kershaw, said: "I think Mr. Franklin is very short-sighted in not hacking up our efforts." The council decided to submit other poster designs to Mr. Franklin, AIRPORT SERVICE TAKE-OVER BID r'HABLES W. BANFIELD, LTD., has ‘-•-' applied to take over licences at present held by Lewis Cronshaw, Ltd., for three airport services—two to Blackbushe and one to London Airport—from West London air terminal. The services are for Eagle Aviation passengers.
NO BLACKPOOL HOURS LIMITS
THERE will be no curfew on coaches entering and leaving the area during the period of Blackpool Illuminations, it has been officially stated. All road vehicles may enter and leave Blackpool at any hour.
