• Durham lorry driver Scott Hylton has been fined • 100 and ordered to pay £50 prosecution costs by Barnsley magistrates for falsifying a tacho chart.
No Blame
• The one-vehicle licence held by Darshan Singh Kara of Coventry was renewed for the full five years when West Midland LA John Mervyn Pugh accepted Kara was not to blame for the loss of inspection sheets by a commercial garage.
Licence revoked
• Maintenance problems and the use of an unauthorised operating centre have led North Eastern Deputy LA Brian Horner to revoke Roy Middleton Scaffold's licence.
