DESIGNED by Volvo in collaboration with the Swedish Army, a new tight vehicle features four-wheel-drive and forward control. . The vehicle, which is the first of its type to be built in Sweden, is intended to replace 4 x 4s of foreign manufacture now being used.
It is powered by the Volvo Amazon petrol engine producing. 60 b.h.p. driving through a gearbox with synchromesh engagement on all ratios. Special. lowpressure tyres are fitted to give exceptional 'cross-country performance.
This model will be followed at a latr date by a version for civilian use.
