THE PRESENTERS of a BBC radio programme on leisure pursuits were asked whether they knew of a pleasant hotel where Christmas was not to be celebrated. They named three with tariffs for the four-day holiday ranging, if I remember all right, from about £160 to £220.
So I am condemned to endu domestic hilarity and I offer ml sympathy to all fellow-sufferei Remember that the washing-u must cease eventually and tha 1982 can't possibly be worse than the present year.
Peckers up, chaps. There are not many of us left.
