• Under new "management" the Freight Industry Yearbook shows considerable changes in its 1973/4 edition just published. The directory of transport fleets is now arranged by counties, and the guides to specialized carriers have been extended — notably to include vehicles hire and rental fleets.
The manufacturer and transport operator facilities' sections have been considerably revised. and there is now a new one summarizing EEC transport legislation.
The contents include vehicle and component manufacturer directories, a list of servicing facilities, and sections devoted to freight forwarders, air freight agents, ferry services and container facilities, The Yearbook costs £5.95 post free from Transport and Distribution Press, 47 Surbiton Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT I 2HG, Surrey.
