Dan Duffy, 38, has been elected president, Scottish Commercial Motormen's Union. Mr. Duffy, a Glasgow Corporation cleansing department driver, has worked in the industry for 20 years and has been a shop steward for 10 years.

Trevor Smallwood, a junior traffic trainee with the Yorkshire Traction Co., has been awarded a special prize by the British Electric Traction Co. after obtaining the highest aggregate in 1967 of marks in any five papers in Royal Society of Arts exams in road transport subjects. The prize is awarded annually to a passenger road transport company employee in England or Wales who has qualified for the Diploma in Road Transport.
