Following the successful launching last year of its Hycaddy HS5 and HS10 Mark II hand stackers, Kelvin Engineering is now producing a 1-ton-capacity manually propelled stacker—the HS20.
This new model is available with either three-speed handhydraulic pump operation powered by a battery-electric or mains-electric system. The machine has a normal forktruck mast channel with sealed bearings on all rollers and wheels. Double-lift chain is used and the hydraulic ram is plated and polished for extended life.
The stacker is mounted on a pair of 6in, diameter polyurethane or nylon wheels; a swivelling towbar steering unit makes for easy manoeuvrability. Standard lift heights are 5ft and 6ft and a telescopic lift of 10ft is also available.
Made by: Kelvin Engineering (Basingstoke) Ltd., Hatch, London Road, Basing, Hampshire.
Price: £305 for typical batteryoperated machine with 5ft lift.
