Some time ago Belgium founded a prize competition of 2,000 francs for the author of the most striking paper submitted containing suggestions for promoting progress in the construction, maintenance and exploitation of roads, and for facilitating traffic.
The authors must be members of the Permanent International Association of Road Congresses, and registered as such prior to August 1, 1937. Members of the Permanent International Commission are debarred.
Papers must be submitted to the Secretary-General of the Association, 203, Boulevard Saint-Germain, Paris, before February 1, 1938. If in any other language than English, French or German, a goo) translation into one of these must accompany the original. The most recent award of this prize was at the seventh Congress, held at Munich in October, 1934.
