AA DEMONSTRATION run in a Bristol RE 36-ft. coach was staged for the technical Press by Bristol Commercial Vehicles Ltd. this week. Maximum indicated speed reached here was 62 m.p.h. and the vehicle maintained a steady 60 m.p.h. average over a long stretch of the motorway.
After lunch at Ross7ort-Wye the return to Gloucester was made by way of the M5 motorway and A4I7 to demonstrate the vehicle's riding over varied roads.
The seats were well-spaced and comfortable, with plenty of room for long legs, especially on the offside. F.K.M.
