Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I N a new depot which Arthur Batty, Ltd., has opened in Marsh Street, off Manchester Road, Bradford, are combined facilities for the company's primary business as furniture remover, storer and haulage contractor, and for a public-service and sales section which it has established there. It covers an island site about 5,000 square yds. in extent. Fronting into Marsh Street is the sales, service and repair section of the depot, all on one floor, and behind is the four-floor furniture depository.

Between the depository and the other section of the depot is a covered runin, where vans can unload furniture direct into an electric lift, which serves every floor of the depository. As the run-in stretches crosswise from one side street to another, traffic can be operated on the one-way principle, and there is space enough to garage about 15 vans there after business hours.

The Marsh Street frontage covers the service and sales garage, and a body repair shop.

Compressed air, supplied from a Tecalemit two-stage 20-cubic-ft. compressor, is piped to various points both in the garage and body shop, and elec

tric plugs are distributed for the supply of current for hand lamps and such purposes. In the garage, the equipment includes a Tecalemit pressuregreasing installation with five grease guns ; an 18-ft. Tecalemit lift, which has supplementary jacks by which any part of a vehicle can be further raised when it is on the lilt; a Black Hawk 6-ton hydraulic lack ; a Stenorizer Major vulcanizing installation ; an A.C. plug cleaner ; and acetylene welding plant. Equipment in the body shop includes an Elliott Universal sawing and planing machine, an Elliott band saw, and a Driver drill press—all these machines being driven by separate electric motors.

The company's new depot is additional to its premises at Beckside Road, Bradford, which it will continue to uSe chiefly for the overhauling of its vehicles. The fleet numbers some 25 vehicles, having grown from the one vehicle which Mr. Arthur Batty owned,. and drove, 10 years ago. Mr. Batty's manager is Mr. G. K. Taylor, who is also secretary of the company, and the employees, at the present time, number approximately 70.
