WILLOWBROOK BODIES FOR SOUTH WALES. RENOWN S: Amongst bodywork orders recently received by Duple Group Sales Ltd. is one from South Wales Transport Co. Ltd., for six .30-ft. double-decker low-bridge bodies to be mounted on the new A.E.C. Renown chassis. Six 30-ft. forwardentrance double-decker bodies will also be supplied on Leyland Titan chassis for Stratford-upon-Avon Blue Motors Ltd. Amongst single-decker but bodywork orders received is one from Swindon Corporation Transport Dept., for five P.A.Y.E. bodies on 30-ft. Reliance chassis, and another for six 30-ft. 6-jn. standard B.E.T. bodies on Reliance Chassis for City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd. 'An unusual order is one received from the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Co-Ltd., for the completicin, trimming and painting of 50 standard S.17 body shells.
REFRIGERATED SEMI-TRAILERS FOR SPA/N: Smith's Delivery Vehicles Ltd., Gateshead, is to build six irons-continental refrigerated semi-trailers for the Spanish Ministry of Supply. It is understood that the 33-ft.-long units will he operated in conjunction ceirh Spanish-made Pegaso tractive units fitted with Leyland engines and will operate at 32-ton gam. carrying meat and refrigerated produce between European countries.
