• London Coastal Coaches Ltd, the NBC subsidiary which controls London's major coach terminal — Victoria Coach Station — has changed it name to National Travel (NBC) Ltd.
The new name is indicative of the company's future role as the headquarters of the recently constituted central activities group of the National Bus Company, whose aim is to develop its subsidiaries' express coach services and holiday coach tours on a national basis.
