No such restraints need inhibit those who are moved by old machinery, if you know what I mean. Or, as the handout puts it "Those who love the smell of hot oil and smoke from old traction engines." To which one might add "that electrical smell from old trams."
It's Transport Extravaganza time again, and the enthusiasts will soak up the nostalgic sights, sounds and smells at the Tramway Museum, Crich, Derbyshire this weekend. Open from August 23 to 25.
