More Guys for Cardiff: Guy Motors Ltd. has received an order from Cardiff Corporation Transport for a total of 37 Arab V double-deck bus chassis to be fitted with bodywork by W. Alexander and Co. (Coachbuilders) Ltd. The order, subject to confirmation by 'the city council, calls for 15 30-ft. chassis at a cost of £2,792 each and 22 27-ft, chassis at £2,695 each, all to be fitted With Gardner 6LW engines. Bodywork will cost £3,265 per bus and £3,145 per bus for the 30-ft, and 27-ft. bodies respectively. Another Four for Ipswich: Ipswich Corporation Transport committee recommends acceptance of the tender of A.E.C. Ltd. for four A.E.C. Regent V double-deck bus chassis at £2,785 each and the tender of East Lancashire Coachbuilders Ltd. for the supply of bodywork to the above chassis at £3,170 each.
Boston Bus Station Talks: Negotiations are in progress between a sub-committee of Boston (Lines) Town Council's highways committee and the Lincolnshire Road Car Co. Ltd., with a view to the provision in the near future of a bus station in South Square, Boston.
