• Reynolds Boughton has delivered its first Scania-based fire fighting vehicles in South East Asia. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore has taken four vehicles for service at Changi Airport.
The 3:300N (442hp) Scania vee-eight-powered chassis are equipped with Allison automatic transmission.
They carry a five-man crew with 9,000 litres of water and 1,100 litres of foam. A roofmounted spray monitor will deliver 3,0001it/min from over 50m.
Two foam handlines will deliver 4501it/min, with a further 1,150 lit/min available from two side delivery systems.
Four Scaniabased Reynolds Boughton fire fighters go into service at Singapore's Changi Airport.
