to be used a recut tyre if it has been wholly or partially recut, in a pattern other than the manufacturer's recut tread pattern! This means that any tyre which has been recut to any pattern other than the manufacturer's recut tread pattern, will be illegal as from November 1.
Owners and operators should check any recut tyres already on their vehicles to see that they comply with the new law, because it specifically refers to use, which means a tyre could be illegal regardless of when it was cut.
