Fact : A radical advanced principle called 'Systematic Torque Build up is the transmission system chosen by Magirus. The most torque in the system is produced at the logical place: in the actual wheel hubs.

It's one of the most advanced transmission systems around, and means that all the engine power is used to the full with maximum flexibility and elasticity.

It also means that all other drive elements (half shafts etc.) can be lighter without losing strength and reliability. It gives you that bit extra on the payload.

Every Magirus truck has powerful twin circuit air brakes, a spring energy parking brake and engine exhaust brake for fast, smooth deceleration. For added control and safety tractor models incorporate load-sensing valves.

Fully integral power steering is standard on the bigger models, optional on the 32 ton tractive unit.
