• Pressure washer manufacturer WAP has introduced a remote control unit designed to overcome misuse of the machine. With remote siting of the hot and cold water machine, the operator only has the lance and a control panel with buttons for stop, cold water, hot water, chemical A and chemical B. There is also a key lock option. By having Iwo chemical tanks WAP says that cross contamination is avoided and the right concentration is always used.
The diesel-powered machine has a maximum nozzle pressure of 100 bar and water flow of 8501it/hr. Should the machine run out of fuel, there is a cut-off to prevent restarting and any possibility of igniting any spillage. A complete system with pipework will cost around 23,500.
