MRS GLORIA BOTSFIELD became the first woman hgv driver to qualify for the Commercial Motor Lorry Driver of the Year national finals when she won class D for large rigids at Newcastle-under-Lyme this week. At other contests, Mr T. Green of Conoco returned a record low score of 57 to win seven trophies at the Ruislip centre and the reigning Lorry Driver of the Year, Lloyd Richards, qualified at Torbay.
