The company also wanted to operate three additional vehicles on the Farnworth licence and four on the Walkden to away matches of Manchester United and Bolton Wanderers, excluding those at Blackpool, Mr. I. Backhouse, for Mills and Seddon, said that often the company had to refuse passengers when vehicles were full. It would have to ask for dispensation if the application were refused.
