L and Publications Box Body Trailer NOW added to the range of box body trailers designed for the building industry by Richard Maurice Equipment Co. is a 5-ton model called the 4B100. It is constructed of hollow, rectangular tube to Stewarts and Lloyds' code of practice. The

trailer has independent rubber suspension and cranked axles to give the low floor height of lit. 4 in. The body is 12 ft. by 5 ft 9 in., with sides I ft. 3 in, high. It is offered in wood and metal with a hinged tailboard. Optional extras include loading skids, by means of which a crawler tractor can be loaded. Combating Rust AN interesting booklet called " Rust versus the Motorist" has recently been published by Plow Products Ltd. This purports to give the complete answer to the problem of rust— how to Prepare against it, and how to control it once it starts. It deals with the question of why vehicles rust, where rust is likely to begin—and goes on to state what is demanded from rust preventatives.

There then follows an account of a rust preventive treatment of Swedish origin called the ML-method. It is explained that the Dinitrol treatment according to the ML-method is a rust preventive treatment with Dinitrol 33B of the interior cavities of a vehicle as well as of the underbody and wheel arches, the outside joints and inside floor with its joints and flanges. Display Unit for Coal Lorries ANEW display unit for delivery lorries has been produced by the Coal Utilisation Council. It is a three-faced design, made of steel or aluminium, which, it is claimed, will fit on to the cab of any lorry.

The front panel is intended to take a merchants' diploma, approved coal merchant or authorized coal dealer sign. The other two will accommodate posters issued free by the C.U.C. and N.C.B. or a firm's own display material. The unit clips on to the rain gutter on the cab of a vehicle. It has been subjected to tests on the road and in merchants' yards and has stood up to wear and tear in extreme weather conditions.

Two Screenwashers TWO new screenwashers, introduced at the London Moto3

Show this week, are now available from Trico-Folbertl Ltd. One model, called the Push-Matic, is a manually-operatec washer. A self-priming pump fits on the dash and gives positive, instantaneous action of up to three seconds duration It has a compact 2-pint plastics water container and all part are non-corrosive.

The other washer, the Electro-Matic, is a fully automatii electrically operated model. This also has a 3-pint plastic; water container and non-corrosive parts. The compact electrii motor is operated by 1 neat flush-fitting flip switcl and has a low curren consumption of less that 1 amp. It is available fo 6, 12 and 24 V systems.
