THE creditors' trustee, under a deed of assignment of a bus business to the creditors, was the defendant at Llanilar Police Court, when Mr. J. W. Williams, Cardiff, was proceeded against for allowing a bus to operate with two independent brakes not in good working order.
It was explained that defendant, an B46
accountant, was the trustee for the creditors in the deed of assignment made by Messrs. Jones Bros., North Parade, Aberystwyth. It was found that the vehicle's hand brake was inefficient and the foot brake caught The defendant's solicitor said that the vehicle's brakes had been adjusted previous to the issue of the summons.
The magistrate imposed a fine of £10 on Mr. Williams.
