There are things going on every day in transport which would astound and amaze us if they all leaked out. For obvious reasons they don't, but the ones we are meant to hear are, on occasion, just as amazing.
What possible connection can London Transport have with Kuwait, I ask? None, say you, and, until a few days ago, would have had to agree.
However, comes the news this week that LT International Services have just won their largest ever annual contract. It is worth £750,000 for consultancy.
An 11-man team from LT will advise the Kuwaiti transport people on how to run a public transport system. There are already 250 buses in operation in Kuwait.
