/ Experienced truck drivers are wanted by a charity to take food and medicine to war-torn Bosnia.
East Preston-based Britpol Health Care Foundation says it desperately needs at least three 38-tonners and three buses for its convoy taking £70,000 worth of aid to the former Yugoslav republic on 3 October.
Co-ordinator Elizabeth Cooper says the charity will provide the diesel required for the seven-day return journey, but cannot pay for the driver's time.
She says it is essential the trip is made immediately because by the end of October freezing tern peratures could make the roads impassable.
0 Save the Children is advertising for senior transport professionals to take part in relief programmes in southern and eastern Africa.
