PA.A COMPLAINT that the latest conditions with regard to contract work, imposed by the Road Traffic Act, 1934, have the effect of cramping the operation of coaches for booked parties, was made by Mr. Frank G. Bibbings, general secretary of the Yorkshire Stage Carriage Operators Association, at a sitting of the Yorkshire Traffic Commissioners. The condition which precluded organizers of private parties from :eceiving any remuneration would, ne contended, tend to " chill out " organizers of such parties.
