ASTANDARD Morris 1-ton van has been converted to a semi-pick-up by W. Mumford. Ltd., Abbey Garage, St. Andrew Street, Plymouth. Approximately 6 ft. long, the open section at the rear is fitted with a drop tailboard having support chains and hooks. Level with the rear ends of the tracks of the cab sliding doors, there is a partition with a sliding door.
When this door is open, the full length of the body is available for long loads. With the door closed, a loading space approximately 5 ft. 6 in. by 3 ft_ 6 in. is available behind the driver.
Although the vehicle as sold is to be used for carrying spare parts, it is claimed that this type could equally well serve as a combined personnel and material transporter.
