ln 1984, Silcock Express Holdings had a turnover of nearly i30 million, with a pretax profit of f2.5 million. The buy-out has resulted in greater stability, it says.

Among those from Britain at the ceremony was Silcock Express director and general manager Dudley Pound. who told CM he is looking forward to increased co-operation with the Continental subsidiaries.
"There are interesting differences in operation between Britain and the Continent,he said.
