FOLLOWING demands Froin operators for a small truck fridge unit with an external evaporator, Hubbard Engineering is now offering its hydraulically-driven 486 unit which provides a flush-finish to the inside of a vehicle body with any wall thickness from 50rnm to 100mm.
The one-piece unit is available for both chilled and deep-frozen applications — the latter with automatic defrost — and is intended for Use
with sales vans and light delivery trucks.
The 486 can be used on vehicles with either a 12 or 24 volt electrical system, and can be supplied with single or three-phase electric standby.
Overall weight for the complete 486 unit (including hoses and a hydraulic mount kit) is around 215kg.
Kits for mounting an hydraulic pump on the vehicle's engine are also available for a wide variety of truck models.
