Sir Robert Adeane, W. M. Dravers and Group Captain H. S. L. Dundas have been appointed to the board of the British Electric Traction Co. Ltd. Sir Robert has been a director of the Birmingham and District investment Trust Ltd. (a subsidiary of BET) since 1954. Mr. Dravers has been a member of the executive staff of BET since 1957 and is on the boards of a number of subsidiary and associated companies. Group Captain Dundas was a member of the executive staff of an associated company, Rediffusion Ltd., from 1961 until the end of 1967, when he joined the executive staff of BET. Since 1966 he has been a director of Rediffusion Ltd., which recently became a subsidiary of BET; he retains his seat on the board of that company. R. P. Beddow has resigned from the board of BET in view of his impending retirement at the end of the month.
