TN the face of opposition by British 1 Railways, Western S.M.T. Co., Ltd.. Cotter's Motor Tours, and McKelvie and Co., Ltd., the Scottish Licensing Authority has granted permission to West of Scotland Roadways, Ltd., to operate tours to France, Belgium and Luxembourg from Girvan, Ayr and Maybole.
The cost of a 12-day "working men's" tour, as it was described when the application was heard (The Commercial Motor, February 5), was stated to be £41 9s. 6d.
