Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

II Tippers grossing at 7.5 tonnes remain strong sellers, says Duncan Ward, UK business development manager, commercial vehicles, at BCA. "We're seeing R-registered 1998 Iveco Cargo tippers fetching around 2.8,500, about £1,000 ahead of market expectations," he reports.

There's still plenty of demand for chassis with special bodies or equipment too, he continues. "We recently sold a 2002-vintage Mercedes Atego 818 with a tilt and slide recovery body for 127,000," he says.

Curtainsiders are doing well too, Ward continues. "We've disposed of a 1999 Atego 815 with a curt ainsider body for 29,900," he says.

While box-bodied 7.5-tanners are not the most desirable vehicles at present according to some traders, 18-tonners usually sell no matter what kind of body they're fitted with.

"We disposed of a pair of box-bodied Mercedes 1820ts dating back to 1997 for 17,300 and 27,700," he says. "A big export demand In Africa for this type of truck is pushing values well ahead of guide prices."
