• Two Italian brothers have set up a bus company in Manchester to compete with over 40 already in the area.
Vincenzo and Ernesto Casale, the founders of Mybus of Hadfield, have been granted an 0licence for two vehicles.
They have three single-deckers, all ex-London Buses, and are applying for an increase in vehicle authorisation.
The Casales, whose aunt runs a large bus firm in Calabria, Italy have started a route from Manchester City to Old Glossop with five journeys in each direction a day. They also plan to develop services in the Tameside region.
