THE American Transcontinental Bus System
Inc. (Dallas, Texas) road carriage group, following in the heels of Greyhound Corp., its main rival, has established a branch and representation office in Frankfurt. Transcontinental had a turnover of only 2m. DM in Germany last year. Its plans to set up directly in Federal Germany will hinge on the moves made on these Lines by Greyhound Corp. Its other foreign offices are in Amsterdam, Paris, London.Tokyo, Sydney. Melbourne and Mexico City.
Transcontinental Bus System controls its Belgian Eurotransport Belgium SA and Dutch Eurotransport Nederland NV subsidiaries through a Luxembourg subsidiary, Eurotransports SA.
