ON Wednesday, British Road Services announced that they had decided to reorganize the South Eastern,
Midland, Eastern, Western and SouthWestern Divisions into three divisions. The South-Eastern Division will be based on London and consist of the present division, with the addition of the Home Counties and Southampton districts of the South-Western Division
and the Norwich and Ipswich districts of the Eastern Division. Mr. A J. Wright, present South Western divisional manager will he in charge.
• Based on Birmingham: the Midland Division will consist of the present division with the addition of the Peter borough district of the Eastern Division. Mr. C. N. Christensen, the present Eastern divisional manager. will he in control.
The new Western Division will be based on Cardiff and comprise the present division. in addition to the Bristol. Exeter and Reading districts of the South-Western Division, The Western divisional manager. Mr. J. Freeguard, will be in charge.
The remaining district in the Eastern Division (Lincoln) will be transferred to the North-Eastern Division.
Mr. J. B. Garrett. formerly B.R.S. South-Eastern divisional manager, has been appointed assistant traffic adviser (freight) to the British Transport Commission,
