Fume extraction equipment
MTE Binzel (UK), of Wirksworth, Derbyshire, the sole UK distributor for Alexander Binzel welding products is supplying an extensive range of MIG fume extraction torches and equipment.
The air and watercooled fume extraction torches feature fully integrated hose assemblies and are available with capacities from 300A to 600A.
Add-on fume extraction nozzle/hose assemblies are also available, for use on all existing Binzel torches including special machine and robot models.
The company stresses that due to counterfeiting problems all genuine Binzel torches and spare parts are now stamped with the company's circular logo or are bagged and labelled in Binzel packages.

Document transmitter
A NEW desktop facsimile system which is claimed to be the first to provide the sender with a unique transmission receipt verification, is now offered by lnterscan Communications Systems. "This is of particular relevance to the transport and distribution industry where confirmation of receipt of authenticated signatures, diagrams, or timesensitive information is often vital," says lnterscan.
The validator facility is unique to the new Dex 3200, and for the first time provides the sender with a detailed receipt after transmission is completed. This receipt confirms successful reception by the receiver terminal giving a print-out showing the date, time and number of pages received, as well as the receiving terminal's identification.
In addition, the identification feature enables the operator to personalise each unit, give individual page numbers and a total count of pages being transmitted.
The DEX 3200 has other features, including compatibility with all CCITT group 3, 2 and 1 terminals. This enables DEX 3200 terminals to link up with almost any facsimile unit world: wide.

Cornpression tester
TO COMPLEMENT their existing KM 4001 Diesel Engine Compression Tester, KentMoore has now introduced the KM 4045 Petrol Engine Compression Tester into their Serviceaid range of equipment.
The KM 4045 uses a dual scale gauge reading, 0-350 psi and 025 bar, and the gauge has a heavy rubber cover to provide added protection under normal operating conditions. With a 9in high pressure flexible hose, built-in valve to maintain pressure readings and stepped threaded adaptor for 14 mm and 18 mm spark plug holes, the KM 4045 covers all the requirements to check the condition of valves, pistons, rings, etc.

Versatile arc welder
PURPOSE designed for welding carbon and stainless steels, aluminium and copper alloys, the 'New Era' MTA 200 welding machine from Leicestershire based Migatronic Welding Equipment, is suited for fabrication and general maintenance applications.
The machine has the facility for TIG or manual metal arc welding, on an AC or DC welding output, at infinitely variable currents between 10 and 200 amps.
Rubber wheel mounted, and weighing 100 kg, the MTA 200 operates from two phases of 415 volt AC supply and features a high frequency unit, easily exchanged control module and aircoolecl TIG torch with stop/start impulse trigger. A built-in current contactor provides touch-free ignition of the electric arc, while its system of timing relays provide both pre and post-weld purge and a spot welding facility. Yale trucks in two widths
AS A follow-up to its recently introduced higher capacity Super Excel electric lift trucks, Yale has now released information on a new Yale range of reach trucks.
The new trucks, branded Yale Warehouser, e.-.re available in five basic capacities of 1000 kg, 1250 kg, 1600 kg, 2000 kg and 2500 kg, rated at 600 mm load centre. Each model, designated EMR, is also available in two standard frame widths: wide, for additional stability when handling wide loads to permit pallets to be retracted between the straddle arms; and narrow frame.
