These buses, which are powered by 194kW (260hp) Leyland TL11 turbocharged engines, have a high specification including high-back coach seats, a public address system, acrylic paint and a colour co-ordinated interior paint scheme. All the external bands and signwriting in the vehicle's livery are made out of vinyl to allow for easier repairs in the event of an accident.
