• From the beginning of April, Freight Rover will be offering an uprated version of its extra-long-wheelbase Sherpa '300 Series PSV chassis, with a gross weight of 4,050kg.
The latest four tonne GVW chassis cowl will be available with either the 2.5 litre diesel engine or the two litre '0' Series petrol engine and will replace the 3,950kg GVW chassis. The new PSV chassis cowl has an uprated 1,500kg front axle (previously 1,425kg), revised spring rates and front anti-roll bars and new rear anti-roll bars.
The new chassis cowl for PSV work above four tonnes follows increasing demand from welfare and minibus operators for a basic specification which provides seating for 20 passengers with room for five standing.
