Hudson is not investing in any additional vehicles for 38 tonne operation, and will continue to operate at a 32.5 tonne maximum. It believes that there is no additional profit to be earned from running 38-tonners, but would have liked the limit for 32.5 tonne four-axle units to be raised to 36 tonnes.
