I N .last year's special roadside vehicle " blitz " checks by Ministry examiners, nearly half the vehicles inspected were C-licensed, yet even this total of 6.300 represented less than 0.5 per cent of all C-licensed vehicles. Such a small sample cannot be taken as representative, says the Traders Road Transport Association in commenting on the results of an analysis which it has made of the checks.
