THIS IS make or break week for Stonefield Vehicles, with Tozer, Kemsley and Millbourn's option on the company being due to run out yesterday (Friday).
From then, the Scottish Development Agency was due to start charging rent on the company's factory at Cumnock, and in the absence of a private sector partner, the off-road vehicle builder's future could be distinctly gloomy.
TKM was the front-runner for the firm, but has indicated that it cannot proceed happily without a substantial order from the Ministry of Defence which has given the vehicle its seal of approval.
