RIDDLE C. COOK, LTD., in the Northern area, have applied for a new A licence for two special-type trailers of 50 and 40 tons unladen weight, now on special A licence. There are also two important A variation applications in the Metropolitan area where George Ewer and Co., Ltd., seek five additional vehicles and Halter Bros. four tankers.
In the North West, G. Reyner (Transport), Ltd., seek six additional A vehicles, while in Yorkshire, Allisons Haulage, Ltd., Pocklington, ask for six more B licence vehicles.
Cordon Haulage, Ltd., in the East Midlands, have applied for four articulated units.
