Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Polypenco has revised its PTFE brochure for 1969/70.

This publication has been up-dated to list more clearly the properties of the material and now includes sections on specifications and special extrusions as a route to reduce the price of machined parts.

PTFE stock shapes, including rod, tube, sheet, strip, sleeving, tubing sealing and gasketing are mentioned, together with details of sizes and applications.

Available free of charge from: Publicity Dept., Polypenco Ltd., Gate House, Welwyn Garden City, Herts. How infuriating it is when picking up one's vehicle after it has been serviced or repaired to find that the seats, floor mats and various parts of the coachwork are covered in grease and dirt. Having completed my share of work on the shop floor, I know how easy it is to forget about the mess being made by dirty overalls while clambering in and out of vehicles.

The answer is simple: use covers. Where does one find such covers? A firm in west London tells me it is operating what it calls a Clean Tread Service. The company, London Carpet Cleaners Ltd„ has started to supply garages, on a hire basis, with loose covers that will fit any type of vehicle seat and others that will drape over and protect the front wings of a vehicle being worked on. The covers are hired, changed and cleaned on a weekly basis.

Although it is primarily designed as a service to garages dealing with private cars, coach firms and companies operating large fleets of representatives' cars, as well as those whose lorry drivers are, for various reasons, smartly uniformed, may well find the service of use.

Further details can be obtained from London Carpet Cleaners Ltd., Furmage Street, Wandsworth, SW18, (phone 01-875 4333.

In my previous "Keeping Them Runningarticle, I referred to the service offered by Europa Landwagen, of 99 Kidbrooke Grove, London, SE3. I have since learned that the firm has now been successful in obtaining copies of the workshop manual for the Bedford R series trucks of all types. In case I gave a false impression that the firm was printing the manuals, I must add that all of them are Ministry publications found to be surplus to requirements.
