• National Carriers Ltd has secured distribution of motor spares and accessories for two leading car importers, Volkswagen (GB) Ltd and Audi /NSU.
Volkswagen imports parts through Ramsgate Harbour, where NCL provides transport to the firm's Ramsgate depot. The trunk haul is from Ramsgate to four Volkswagen depots located at Whitburn (East Lothian), Doncaster, Trowbridge and Edenbridge.
In addition to the trunk haul, NCL provides a distribution service from each of the four Volkswagen depots direct to dealers.
Distribution for Audi /NSU at Dunstable is to some 200 dealers throughout the country.
