ANEW company, British Road Ferry Services Ltd., has been registered as a private company with a capital of 050.000 shares to handle the overseas traffic previously carried by British Road Services Ltd. This change Will not, it is understood, affect the overseas transport carried out by the AngloContinental Container Services and B.R.S. (Pickfords) sections of the Transport Holding Company.
The official objects of the company are: " to carry on the business of carriage of goods by road or otherwise between places in Great Britain and places in Northern Ireland, Eire, the mainland of the Continent of Europe, and other parts of the world, and to arrange for the transportation of loads in motor vehicles, trailers or containers across the intervening waters, etc."
Two subscribers have been named, with one share each, these being Mr. Roger Chitty and Mr. James D. Tattersall, both of whom are solicitors at the T.H.C.'s Melbury House headquarters. The directors have not yet been named, but they will be appointed by the T.H.C.

P.V.O.A., A.A., R.A.C.. R.R.F. and S.R.P.T.A.
