DRITAIN still has the world's largest 1-.) output of buses. America takes second place, Western Germany third, France fourth, Italy fifth and Canada sixth.
The U.S.A. is, however, the world's biggest manufacturer of all commercial vehicles, with the United Kingdom lying a bad second, Canada third, France fourth, Western Germany fifth and Italy sixth.
The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders has published output figures for the main producing countries for the first six months of this year. They are as follows :—
